It works! For a wristband I feel that’s really the only thing that matters.
My wrist measures about 17.5cm (girth) and the 38mm/40mm/41mm size fits me well – I wear the wristband on the third peg from the outer tip (see my second picture showing the underside of the wristband when worn).
I’ve used plastic wristbands for years (Fitbit devices before Apple Watch) and my experience with this wristband is unremarkably similar to all the other wristbands I’ve used. If the wristband is worn too tightly, I will get rashes on my wrist, but this has been the case for all wristbands I’ve used so I am not knocking this particular product for that (it’s probably due to my own sweat build up anyways). The outer edges of the wristband will also smoothen and develop shiny texture over time (again, like all wristbands made of similar material).
The locking mechanism on this wristband is slightly different than the original Apple Watch wristband – there is an additional loop that you fit the wristband through before the latch. I personally prefer this, as it’s ever so slightly easier to put on and tighten the wristband, but you may feel differently.
My only knock on this product is the price that I bought it for – $8 – as competing wristbands are currently closer to $6. Unfortunately, this is the only product that came in the color I wanted (Clay) at time of purchase. Not going to knock something down for +$2 when it’s the only one with the color option I want though.
